About Momentaire
Not every moment gets a photograph.
We make jewelry for the ones that do — and for the ones that don't.
The idea
Jewelry has a habit of only showing up for the loud occasions. The proposal. The round-number birthday. The thing worth announcing.
Those deserve marking. They are also rare — a handful of days spread across an entire life. Everything else happens on an ordinary Wednesday, in a kitchen, on the way somewhere, with nobody watching.
Momentaire is built for both. Pieces with enough weight to stand in for a milestone, and light enough to put on for no reason at all. The same pair of earrings for the interview and for the walk home afterwards.
A moment doesn't have to be big to be worth keeping.

What we hold to
Small runs
We make a few pieces at a time and stop when they are gone. It keeps the work careful and the pieces uncommon.
Metals for daily life
Sterling silver, freshwater pearls and thick 14k gold plating — made to survive hand-washing, weather, and forgetting to take them off.
Made to be given
A gift shouldn't need an occasion to justify itself. We design pieces that are easy to hand over on any ordinary day.
The pieces people keep longest are rarely the expensive ones. They are the thin chain bought on an ordinary afternoon, for nothing in particular, that quietly outlasts every louder gift in the drawer.
Small enough to be given easily. Good enough to be kept for a long time.
